London's Motorexpo kicked off on Monday 10th and will be open to the public until Sunday, making it the ideal destination for a weekend trip.
Located in Canary Wharf and open from 11am until 5pm every day this week, the Motorexpo features some of the world's leading car manufacturers and some of the most exciting vehicles being produced today.
Drawing huge crowds every year, the Motorexpo is the UK's largest motor show event, and with free entry and some high profile visitors, it's easy to see why.
Jaguar's brand new sports car, the F-TYPE, will be one of the high profile stars dazzling visitors this year. Other highlights include an exclusive look at Rover's new Sport model, Aston Martin's sleek new Vanquish, the ever-popular display of classic British sports cars, and lots more.
Taking over this premier business district, the Motorexpo offers great opportunities for dining, with everything from exclusive steak restaurant Gaucho, to a quick fix at the Bagel Factory.
The Wharf is an unrivalled shopping area, too, with over 200 shops, boutiques, cafes and bars, meaning there will be something to entertain everyone.
Getting to Canary Wharf couldn't be simpler. Be warned that parking charges can be high if you plan to stay longer than 3 hours, so it may be beneficial to take one of the many public transport options available.
The Docklands Light Railway runs from Bank and Tower Gateway to Stratford, Beckton and Lewisham until midnight during the week and 23.00 on Sundays.
High speed train services are available to London's main stations, including Liverpool Street, London Bridge, Waterloo, Victoria, Paddington, Euston and King’s Cross St Pancras.
For a real treat take the River Bus, which operates four services per hour from Waterloo to Canary Wharf pier.
